Had a tough time with the final exam and I glad it is over
I lot of us instructors have no previous teaching training so faculty training is very important.
Planning is very important if you want the students to feel confident in you as an instructor. If they see an unorganized instructor, they lose conifidence.
I see social learning as being important because no matter how smart you are and good you are at your ocupation, if you can get along with people socially, your going to have many problems.
I learn something everytime I do a course. I took EL 106 and learned that you need to early on in the class time evaluate any students that have learning disabilities. This way you can plan on spending a little extra time with these students.
I never thought of a rough draft for a project or a pretext as being an opertunity to evaluate a learning disabled student.
I like a little stress, thats just my personality, however, sometimes teaching adds a little more stress than I like.
