I was a disabled student and have worn many hats in higher education. I have not had as much experience from an admissions standpoint. I found it valuable to think about the different scenarios.

Comment on Nancy Garcia's post: I like this!

It can be tricky to discern between over-accommodation and providing more than the baseline accommodation. What is fair? What goes beyond equal access. Does the accommodation give students with disabilities and "unfair advantage"?

I think the most valuable part of this sections was the scope of considerations for different disabilities.  It is good to think about all the processes that a student without a disability is expected to do and how it must be modified for an individual of certain needs.

This content has been a good review for me and reminder of the semantics involved. It is good to be refreshed and look with new eyes at the students and the process.
