Networking on social media, as well as marketing yourself, are vital in today's world.  It is important to know that employer's can view what you post.

As much as it seems like this is all common sense, for some individuals it is not. It is important to have set and clear guidelines on netiquette to ensure a comfortable environment for all.

Researching and deciding which communication tools work best is important, as each population is different and different ways of communication can be utilized for best efficiency.  

It is important to have clearcut guidelines for note taking.  I appreciated the MAPP-motive, assessment, progress, plan method.  

Having steps set up for a workflow is important to ensure better recordkeeping and more accuracy and it is never up to one person whether or not something counts.

I agree with other posts...it is extremely important to understand and agree within the department on your organization's definition of a placement.  

I have always known that accurate reporting was important, but I didn't fully grasp the big picture of why it was important.  I thought of it in a smaller view...that it affected the way prospective students looked at our school and our grad's success.  And of course, like with many things, accreditation. But to see the economic impact really puts the importance of accuracy into perspective!
