Workload management pertains to organization.  You must always be organized with your management strategies in order to convey your information properly. 

Technology tools are crucial to teaching in an online environment. There are many different tools available and the instructor must be comfortable using the tools to provide lessons to their students. 

It's important to have consistency across the board.  Students will get accustomed to receiving and delivering their information in a certain way. 

As an instructor I need to know the composition of my audience.  I need to keep them engaged with interesting lessons.  I need to tailor my lessons towards their age group. I need to use a platform they are familiar with and one that I can easily post and edit information.
