About me

Activity

I have learned that the greatest source of stress seems to be when I had been resistant to change. Particularly when implementing new policies, new methods of documentation, new student/class assignments... if I took the deep breaths and observed the root of most of the stress... in tended to be a resistance in going with the flow.
It cannot be stressed enough that the institution must offer transparency at all times and at all levels of the institution. This is critical in all areas from financial aid, academics, and most importantly in placement.
I have taught a two post-secondary schools and really I notice how I can be a much more effective instructor when the right thing is done at ever level of the institution. At the previous school I taught at, much class time was taken up by disgruntled students finding out that things were not as they had been presented either by admissions or financial aid. I find I can totally focus on the subject matter.
