Their is a variety type of students. despite having multiple types of individuals there are many ways to get every student involved motivated and guided to the right direction in the material being taught.

It's important to establish that this is no longer high school and the rules are more guided to a real life experience. The syllabus is a contract that can help guide the students into getting out of the habbit of what high school taught them vs what we are trying to teach for getting them ready.

Not every person learns the same, so it is good practice to teach vary different styles in class to every student has a chance to learn the material that is being taught in class.

An effective teaching strategy is getting the class to know and grow comfortable with one another. Everyone introducing themselves, teacher included help ease the comfortability of meeting each other. After classmates meet each other, doing activities to grow comfortable with group activities and class interactions helps people feel that they are in a nice teaching space.

A syllabus that is properly structured can benefit both the teacher and student. This gives the teacher a structure on how to properly plan the course and give the student an expectation and clear vision of how the class will flow in regards of scheduling.

The three roles go hand in hand on being a Model, Motivator, and a Manager. Managing to balance those three roles will help become a strong leader for your students.
