Recognizing front-line staff and the importance they play in the interactions with students and prospective students and how they uphold the policy and procedures put in place.  

Having a clear understanding and communication regarding copyright policies for faculty, staff, and students is very important in upholding these regulations.

I was not aware that there were different types of confirmations (active and passive) when notifying students of loan disbursements.  

Communication regarding students' SAP status is important between the department that calculates SAP and the Financial Aid Office to avoid students continuing to receive aid when not eligible.  

This section has reinforced the importance of all staff being up to date on regulations and campus policies that are in place.  It has also reminded me of the importance an institution has in educating and monitoring its staff regarding its compliance rules.   

I have been reminded that it isn't my job to "fix" the issue but to help facilitate an environment that allows the others involved to come together to talk it out and come up with solutions together.
