About me
I graduated from Sacramento City College and practiced clinical dental hygiene in a private general dentistry practice for nineteen years before accepting a position at the William R. Pritchard Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital at the University of California, Davis - teaching dental hygiene skills to veterinary students and post-doctoral residents. In 2011, I returned to "human" practice and currently teach clinical and didactic dental hygiene courses at Carrington College of California. A fan of lifelong learning, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Northern Arizona Univerity in 2009 and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Colorado, Denver, in 2012.
I enjoyed it, too. I appreciated the suggestions on how to incorporate helpful tools for students with learning disabilities and feel I have a better understanding of how learning disabilities work. As a newbie, I've made a commitment to review our instituional policy on this subject.
