Students have a hard time with the course when they don't see any relationship and relevancy in the content, but providing examples that involves their own experiences allows them to retain more of the information. they also tend to lose focus very quickly if they do not know how they are doing in the course, so feedback is really important.

This topic shows that is not only the students that need to be excited about the course but also the instructor. If you are not excited and enthused about the course, then neither will the students. As the leader of the class, you have to strive to keep your dedication and quality of teaching at the highest level throughout the course.

I learned that if you show them the respect to learn their name, it will help develop rapport and get the course off to a good start. 

This course has helped me understand that by assigning students of different ages to work together in small groups, there is an opportunity to develop an appreciation of what each of them can bring to the class. By encouraging their efforts and validation, they can be successful in the course, this type of support can be useful to maintain their focus on their career goals.

I think it is very important to learn and understand the different types of student's behaviors in an e-learning and classroom setting.

Being able to identify the different types of behavior can help the instructor adjust teaching techniques and strategies to help the student become successful.

I really enjoy reading and learning from this module. Learning the difference between Asynchronous and Synchronous and how to conduct them during online learning. Including with the different learning styles.

I learned that it is important to support your students online as if it was in -person class sessions.

I believe that having an instructor- student relationship is important and it will help the student succeed

Making sure that I familiarize myself with the course delivery techniques and strategies for specific classes. I also think it is vital to have good and clear communication from the instructor to the students.

Incorporating different learning styles will help students because everyone learns differently.  What works for one student, might not work for another. Therefore, one must learn to create effective lectures for the students.

I believe that being able to introduce yourself to the class would allow them to understand you better. It also opens a way for them to interact with each other and learn more about each other.
