I totally understand where you are coming from. I find that being in the field as a clinical instructor, that the dynamic is a little different then in a classroom setting. Yes, there are  course syllabi handed out that give them a breakdown of what this course involves. The hard part of being an infield teacher is the hands on approach to applying there classroom knowledge into working knowledge and practice.
