I learned that flipped classrooms are new and changing. Students and administrators may have some reservations since some success may take a bit of time as everyone gets on board.

I teach at a virtual school so the flipped classroom works well with preparing the students so we can have a discussion in class since our time is short.

Advantages are that if your students buy into it they will find they will have more discusion on topics in class rather than just sitting and listening to the teacher. The barrier is getting students to do the learning outside of the classroom.

I think the good thing about a flipped class is it allows for students and teachers to have deeper discussions on topics instead of just having the teacher present and test, more active learning.
