Meeting with your Admisstion team is very important to always stay up to date on whats going on and helping each other. I also appreciated the documents i could download to have in my book

I really enjoyed the ideas of visiting places that relate to courses provided. Also, Reading  the catalog, talk with personnel in the education department, sit in on classes, and talk to the placement department to learn where grads work. Talking to Alumni might help as well to gain your own knowledge about the courses you offer and the outcomes.

This is my first time working in Admissions. I learned that knowing the policies will help you do your job accuratly, and give you more information to help your Students. You need to  pay attention to your own institutions policies
