I thought the copyright laws were interesting; who can and cannot use certain materials and/or how they are used. Very few educators worry about this, though, as there is virtually no way to monitor for violators outside of student reporting.

Uploading slides to the cloud will save time and technical problems for an instructor. A cloud based service which allows students to share files would also be helpful but it should be monitored to ensure everyone is contributing.
I find that whenever students start 'zoning out' or becoming unfocused, I find a question they can research on their devices, since they want to be on their devices anyway. So, two things get accomplished at once.
It would help to know what subject or course you are teaching to see how technology might help.
