I know people prefer to be on autopilot. I prefer trying and maintaining approaches for my class and doing what is best for each group.

I learned to be very intentional about the tech I incorporate in class. While teaching adult learners in an accelerated environment, this is a vital piece of planning. The class will have varied levels of tech comfort for students. Also, it matters the instructor's comfort level as well because of how reliable this resource will be. If tech does not work for some reason, what is the alternative for the lesson? This is an important thing to consider when planning.

Good to revisit this info again. Glad they  gave the disclaimer that it can be done in sections not the complete course at once.

I like how they kept defining the flipped classroom as something that depends on various factors. That allows people to get creative and research best practices instead of a template.

I enjoyed the connections made to the technique and how to implement it.

Learned the origin story of the concept but I was already familiar with this approach.

The interactive live fire scenarios were impactful.

I loved the overview and comparisons of the different approaches to instruction.

The repository is a lifesaver. However, you still need to have resources stored and organized.

Validation of the importance of in-class collaboration and discussions. I notice students are often annoyed at first that the class is set up for peer interaction. After weeks go by, they know what to expect, and most lean into it more.
