I beleive social media prowess has become what most young ppl view as being proficient in computer skills and it is so much more than that.  The depersonalization of our interactions leads to extreme struggles by many students to interact appropriately. 

Learning is a lifelong endeavor and should include many fluid goals 

I have encouraged group interaction via SBAR report to one another, role playing, and group projects 

Assiting students to understand where the gaps in their writing are is critical, they can be motivated and educated to close those deficits with gentle and compassionate assist 

Evaluating and asking the right questions is vital
