Ive learned that many online educators face similar challenges. I have learned that the use of company policies help to drive my answers to students who present with conflict. Maintaining good communication is key and making yourself available to each student is very helpful. 

Having a better understanding of facilitating discussions in the asynchronous and synchronous environments has been very insightful and has provided me with some great strategies to incorporate in the online environment. 

Sharing your credentials, and experiences will help create a connection with the students. Implementing a bio from yourself and the students also allows a more personal touch for everyone and will enable trustworthy relationships. 

Students are more successful when they know they have good communication and support throughout their online course experiences. instructors need to understand how to navigate the CMS well and learn the many areas in which they can interact (communicate and support) with their students individually as well as within the class.
