Activity

This was a great lesson!! I learned active learning is crucial in an online environment as it keeps students engaged, deepens understanding, and fosters collaboration. By actively participating, students retain information better and apply it effectively, leading to improved outcomes and a stronger sense of community.

Using rubrics that are clearly stated allow for students to know exactly how they are assessed.

Quizzes can be especially helpful for students to retain new material and reinforce their learning!

Combining the intellectual interaction and the lesson from this module on asynchronous chats, reminds me to be proactive and encouraging in the discussions. This allows for students to post at their own time, then having a response at a later time from me when they log in. To me, this builds rapport and a sense of community!  Kathryn

I was reminded of the importance of "interaction." I think this will be especially helpful in the synchronous classes. Kathryn
