Activity

This module has been quite interesting.  Though the information does not seem too elaborated, it makes sense and appears to be easily incorporated.  The suggestions of content chunking and reaching the students in a variety of ways, are constructive ways of engaging online students that have parallel activities and little organized time to devote into their studies.  Social engagement seems also very appropiate to consider, since individuals are intrinsically motivated through meaningful relationships, established for with their peers and intstructor.

Students may portary a mix of colors, and instructors need to be able to shift gears and adapt to these traits

TCP test is a very interesting insight into personality types, I like the didactic identification of stressors and main characteristics of each color type

Comment on Dean Cutler's post: It can also help to understand that we need to include different stimulus and cater for more than one type of student

As a teacher, these theories may provide extra insight into the students, their strengths and challenges.  I might also include one of the personality traits test into the course syllabus.
