After reviewing this module what stands out to me the most is that online tools are great; however, if you do not utilize it correctly, and or your students do not undertsand it, it has no purpose.
After reviewing the module, it is obvious that we should be using a variety of tools in our curriculum to help students adapt to the online learning enviroment.
After reviewing the module, evaluating your course and reflecting on your facilitation process is key. I can impliment this by evaluating all aspects of the course such as student assignments, commuincation, grades and course evaluation.
After reviewing the module, it is important to understand how to impliment asynchronous and synchronous methods in courses. Alternating the two would be the option i would choose to make sure i am still connecting face to face throughout the week with students to keep a relationship and different learning experience.
After reviewing the module, It is clear that using multiple different technology forms is very importatnt. Research sources that seem to work best for your individual classes. Live chats are a great way to connect and students to be able to share their screen with you as well. Video is great, but sometimes just voice option helps students feel just as connected.
Not only is assesment of students important, but an assesment of yourself as an instructor as well. This will help in improving many different aspects of your delivery of your course.
Feedback is so important for students in their learning journey online. You must communicate what you think about their response or assignment submitted for a student to truley understand what is expected for next time they submit something.
After reviewing this module, I have learned that commuincation with students is the best way to succeed in online learning. All students communicate differently; however, finding the way they communicate individually will help them succeed.
Organizing your modules will help you in the future teaching the course as well as making it easier for your students to navigate. Consistency is key!
After reviewing this module I have taken away from it the importance of staying organized and communicating effectively online with students. Some of the best ways to communicate with online learning would be through email or live chats.
