I have found that while I'm preparing for the activity, I'm able to come up with more ideas for future classes. I enjoy sharing them with my colleagues. kjc

I am very satisfied with the course. I have been implementing some of the games slowly and the student are responding positively. kjc
I am a fan of the group activities. Just getting the students out of their seats and involved was a major plus. I teach an evening class, so most of the time the students are tired from the earlier part of their day. I did notice that they were more attentive and retained more of the information the next day. kjc

I was hesitant at first to introduce a "game" in class. Once we got started the students seemd to appreciate the effort. They enjoyed the game. I will definitely be returning to it in the future. kjc
I am currently teaching medical terminology for a single student who needs to repeat the class. I found that the memory game worked the best. Of course, there is no competition with other students. This seemed to increase his level of self confidence as well. kjc

I plan to impliment some of these ideas in some of my other classes. I feel that they would be benificial in other areas of study as well. kjc

I have been trying a couple of the ideas mentioned in the course. We tried throwing the tennis ball. That was actually effective. The students did benifit from the exercise. I noticed quiz grades improved. I'm excited to implement a couple more. kjc
I teach evening classes. 6-10 pm. I find it difficult to get the students interested in trying something new. They know the routine and not all of them appreciate "change". I realize that they have been working all day and just want to get done with class. Ideas to help change the negative attitude of some of the students would be appreciated. :) Kim
I have a range of age from post high school to post retirement. How can I get the students to be more open minded and want to work with others in the class?
