Motivation is the key to making the students become aware of their end goal.

INTERESTING

Adding real world examples to a classroom setting brings conversations from all individuals in the class and how they would handle an emergency situation. 

I engage all my students to participate in case studies, lab skill etc. I feel it's important to keep them invovled so they feel they are learning through doing. 

I have come to the conclusion that knowing the background of my students gives me a better understanding of how to reach them in my instructional process to best meet their needs.  Having the supplies available/internet is often overlooked but plays a big part in education.
