My organizational skills are usually really great.  I will be keeping indivudual student work in a folder.  We do this in face to face situations and I will be continuing my work from March 13.

I didn't realize how much I rely on non-verbal communication.  I use proximity in my class quite a bit and I get close to the students that I am encouraging to answer the question because I want them to know just how important their contribution is and will be to the class.  I will need to be mindful of this while transitioning to teaching online.

I took my entire Master's program online and I never truly understood the reasoning behind some of the things that my professors would have me do, such as the biography.  I think even though I am starting this online learning piece later in the semester, it will still be fun especially for my ninth grade students to make these biographies and possibly post them on something like FlipGrid so that they can use videos.

I will need to decide if I will release all of the course on April 13 or to piece it out each week and do all of my grading on Fridays.
