How do we address student dissatisfaction in the classroom? Should we just listen to what the student says in the classroom? How about if our authority is challenged in the classroom?
A student can call us ignorant, incompetent, and various other disparaging comments that could affect our self-esteem and complicate the process of learning for other students. This is a difficult situation to handle especially if the dissatisfied student excels academically. Are you intimidated? What are your strategies to homogeneize the atmosphere in your classroom?
