Use your mistakes for indicators on what you can grow personally in. Rather it be professional, knowledge, or delivery focusing on the way you can improve rather than dwelling on the mistake will develop you into a more effective/ effecient.
Being an effective instructor doesn't mean you have to be perfect, use your mistakes to find what you need to improve on, then focus on improvement rather than dwelling on the mistake.
Asking more questions to the students will help me keep them more engaged more than just lecturing, also creating more visual aids and demonstrations can break up the boring pieces of talking for long periods of time.
I learned so new methods to evaluate one self. I have found it very beneficial to take a step back sometimes and evaluate what you are doing so you can improve your performance. While finding improvements dont beat yourself up.
