I have just finished going through the course materials for ED - 105, and was able to understand the advanrages of having students fill out worksheets when they take firld trips.

I have just finished going through the Ed 104 course today and it was wonderful. It is good to know how to manage your classroom, especially handling the angry students. I have been having struggles with that aspect not knowing how to really handle them. This course has been an eye opener for me.

Learning Styles

Most students fail because some instructors fail to recognise that students have different learning styles. I have a nagging question about how to handle a situation where a student is listening to music (Ipod) while attending lecture.Is that an acceptable learning style?

I completed mine on Saturday and just like you it really opened me to different methods and approach to teaching. Truly somtimes we feel frustrated in dealing with the students but like we learned in the course, we hve to find different ways and methods in getting to them. Anyway, I really enjoyed the course too.
