The duty we hold to the safety of our students is always on my mind.  We have to manage classrooms in such as way to provided for the safety and well-being of our students.  This module is a pertinent reminder of how important safety and continued following of policy is in our day to day work locations.

This module assisted in reinforcing information vital to student success.  Engaging the student in their own learning is so powerful and can be motivating.  Instructors in the CTE field have the ability to empower students in their learning through the development of a positive and engaged learning environment.

This portion of the course was a great reminder of those professional boundaries that we need to maintain as educators.  We must be careful not to place ourselves in situations in which it appears that favoritism is being given to one student over another.  In addition, our behavior can lead to allegations of violations if we are not careful.

Prior to beginning this course, I had a basic understanding of the elements involved in course progression in career and technical programs.  This course is helping me better understand evaluation of programs of study as we work to prepare students in building the skills necessary to flourish in their given fields of study.
