I found the different ways to communicate in this section to be very helpful.

I learned about motivating my students to achieve their goals.

I really enjoyed learning about how to be an active listener.  I feel I can use this in my personal life as well as in coaching my students.

I really like the suggestions for nurturing relationships with the employer.  I learned ideas on how to engage with employers.  I like the idea of once the candidate is hired to discuss the job duties so that they know what they are going into and creating a chechlist for this.

I found the description of the job order process very helpful.

I thought it very helpful regarding the Hot, Warm and Cold call references.   I appreciated the examples of what to say when calling employers.

I have learned that I need to learn all I can regarding the IT industry before reaching out to employers.  I thought is was a great suggestion to make available anything you may have to offer an employer such as facility or equipment.
