I have always used the "what's in it for you" technique. When I could show team members that the procedure would help them, rather than hurt them, they were more open to discussion, and more willing to "try it out". I would show them the time saving steps, or the frustration decrease, or what the "win" will be for them. And I always finish up by saying...."and think how much fun you will have saying I told you this wouldn't work if it really doesn't". Hope this helps.
