Safety is an important part of any job.  The teachers job is to set guidelines from the very beginning on what is appropriate and what is not both in the class and in the real world.  Although all jobs are different, a general layout for safety is given as well as common sense.  As the job changes and new things are introduced it is important for the teacher to grow as well as the students so everyone stays safe.  

Grading rubrics are important for both student and teacher.  They help to keep the student on track so they know what is expected of them for the course or test as well as hands on work or labs.  This also helps with consistency for a teacher with many students and will aid in grade challenging.  

Each student learns at their own pace as well as how they learn information.  Some students are visual learners while others work best reading the material.  Working in groups is also helpful to the student especially when putting them in similar learing style peer groups.  Labs are also an important way for students to soak in information.  If working in large groups, sometimes a virtual lab may be more helpful as all students may not be able to participate or see whats going on.  

Every student is different just as every teacher is different.  We all learn and grow at a different pace.  It is best to learn each stuent and how they interact with the information given, coaching along the way.  Also using a variey of terms to help them see the informatioin in a different light that maybe they didn't see before.
