Change is inevitable, so be prepared for changes. Keep track of old versions, and make sure you update all the supplemental material that may be needed when a change occurs.
Communication is key, with students, admin, and peers!
Remember to be flexible with your teaching methods. Use different methods such as YOUTUBE, PPTS, videos, etc to help students learn.
Workload management can be a heavy load. Remembering to use your peers as support and for guidance when needed is key. Know your resources and use them when needed.

Career Ed Lounge is embedded in over eighty professional development portals serving the career and technical education community. Performance Groups in the Lounge are integrated with related learning opportunities offered on these portals. With a few exceptions, Performance Groups are also publicly available to any member of the Lounge to maximize peer-to-peer learning and performance outcomes.
