I have learned that it is beneficial to mention weaknesses and plan to improve that area. 

The importance of providing complete answers that actually provide the information that is being asked. It was helpful to see the complete response versus the not complete response. This will be beneficial to recall when writing narratives for accreditation. 

I have learned that the language is intentionally vague. I have learned that it is important to understand what the requirements are for accreditation. 

I plan to become more familiar with the mentioned documentation sooner rather than later in order to be prepared when our self study is due to be completed. 

Self motivators have several characteristics. Adult learners were found to have different preferences for learning such as teacher directed discussions. 

Many components go into advising students

Make sure that the student can tell that you are actively listening and giving them enough time to say what they need to say. 

The student should feel like they are receiving the education they are paying for. 

This is similar to working with patients in that unrelated barriers can limit their success.

This gave me a better idea of how to break up a lecture especially when the attention span is only 18 minutes.
