Much of this information is very timely for me, especially the project-based learning section. I am currently designing a laboratory course that will use this.

Reply to Paige Brooks-Jeffiers's post: I agree. I like the SMART format and can see the benefits of using this.

I have used exit polls after class through an electronic system to keep tabs on what students thought about the day. There were some interesting examples here of how I could provide more specific prompts, rather than the very general way I have done this in the past.

 

I am familiar with Bloom's taxonomy, but I have not seen the psychomotor domain equivalent. This may be helpful for improving my communication with students in my lab classes.
