Building up hope through a new learning experience. Support, autonomy, listening.

Listen to students needs, work on making every student feel included, respected, and assisted in every situation that may de required. Helping with transition from military life to civilian, should be an instuctor primary goal for the veteran to be succesfull in this new scenario and in life. 

Each student has different abilities and challenges. Instruction must present several solutions so students can easily addapt and learn. There is never, one single way to learning a skill or subject, applying and giving the opportunity to reach the same outcome, through different ways to approach it,  will include all students. 

There are many approaches to supports Autism students that can be applied without disrupting the goal of the class.

Student with autism need to understan the challenges they will face when entering secondary education. Support will play an important role in their choice.

A lot of empaty is needed to understan to cope with children or adults with this condition. learning to recognize the symtoms in order to best cope with them.

There is still a lot to learn about Autism. The increase in diagnosis is alarming.

Holistic teaching can help the way each student process information. Instructures must be aware of challenges and disabilities students face. There are different ways of learning and they should not be ignored by the institution or instructors. Education should be inclusive. For this, creativity in the way of teaching should play a roll in the classroom. Explore the 5 senses in the learning process. 

The importance to recognize that a multilanguage class should be promoted, students with a mother tong other than english, should be encourage to use it as support, and when needed. Recognizing that we live in a diverse society which enreaches society as a whole. Accepting multilingual, is a sign of respect for each individual's culture. It is also important for education institutions, to have some bilingual teachers. Our goal as instructors is to pass on our knowledge to students, and, if for their anderstanding it means, supporting them in their mother tong, it must be done.
