I lke using simulation as a teaching method because it involves most of the multiple intelligence. It is useful for auditory, tactile, visual learners. Since active participation is required, students don't feel bored and left out. As instructors, we have to thoroughly prepare the scenario, the equipments, the debriefing techniques so as to maximize simulation activity and achieve the desired goal and objectives what students need to learn.

Life is full of ups and downs. The present economic situation and other demands of life like family relationship, work situation add to stress we are facing daily. A forum like this helps minimize the stress by sharing and knowing one is not alone. People from all walks of life are facing stress in one way or another and in many different forms.

I think that guiding the students identify thier multiple intelligence and how to use them, will help maximize student learning.
Learning styles of students and instructional styles of teachers are important aspects that needs considerations in teaching. These are big challenges on the part of the teacher. Firstly, the teacher must be adept in implementing the instructional style he/she is going to use. Secondly,teachers should not just use any instructional style for the sake of variety, but rather use an instructional style that would maximize the achievement of the learning goals set. Example; in teaching skills to be learnt, the best instructional style for me is demonstration. Role play for me is excellent when demonstrating attitude/affective domain in learning.

I am less tha a year in my position at Concorde. This training is very useful to me. I learned a lot and I appreciate the opportunity you've provided.

I will be able to apply these knowledge in carrying out my job effectively and sure that I do justice to the customers I served and the company I worked for.

I would appreciate if there will be a regular newsletter that will remind us about the topics we've just discussed, and more especially if there are new informations about the type of business we are in.

As a service provider it is our responsibility to inform the customer in our instance the prospective students the pros and cons about the institution and the program they are about or interested to enroll. I will demand it from any provider if I am the one needing the service. After all it is my precious investment, i.e time and money, and I can't afford to waste them.
