I learned that course revision should be a routine.

Rubrics are helpful to students but I also think sample submissions are useful as well. 

Scaffolding promotes retention of information and concepts.  

I love the idea of creating a template that promotes consistency and predictability.

In areas of conflict, it is important to review the institution's policies to make sure your actions are in line with the policies.

Engaging learners is a key factor to ensure that students are understanding important course concepts.  

We are relational.  Students need to see that the instructor is more than just credentials and authority. 

Great start to the course.  

Using a variety of assessment items allow different learning styles to excel in the course.

Timely feedback is key for student improvement.
