Since I work only part time as an educator at our campus it makes more sense to take my work with me rather than making a space at the shared office. However, this has been quiet a challenge when at home my items have been taken from my car without my realizing it. Also, hard to stay organized with the packing back and forth. I do a cleanup at least once a month and give student papers back as soon as I can. This seems to help.

You should always ask yourself, "Why have I chosen this method of evaluation?" The course stated that you will be asked to explain why you do what you do and I know this to be true. At a previous school this was a common question to be asked by COE.

I did create a seperate page but it did not catch on. I, being new to fb at the time and it was also new accepted friend request from students. The students do not need to be called "friend" until after graduation for many reason (in my opinion).

I am working now to improve my delivery method without the use of the modern tools. I believe it will help me to expand my knowledge as an instructor while using other methods.

It is not only important for staff and faculty to have proper work ethics but it is also a great idea to incorportate the subject into the curriculum for each program. At some point each student should have been exposed to proper work ethic training since the students leaving our schools are a direct reflection of our facilities.

When I first started using FB I had great results with student contact. Now it seems that it has lost it's reliability for quick student contact. Not so sure it will last forever as a reliable/quick resource but good while the fad is still going.

I am finding it hard to obtain the materials needed for instruction. We do not have computers in each classroom for powerpoint presentations. Much of my time is spent borrowing the lead instructor's laptop for my class to hook up to the white board(so glad we have those in the class) and taking it back at the end of the class. Wish we could get more computer resources.
