retention is a great tool but it takes everone to be sucesful. If you have all the staff on the same page its much easier for the student to relize that they have us on thier side to help and offer advice to problems and to offer a solution or reliefe from thier sometimes confusing lives.

We have to believe in retention as instructors this will help the student understand the importance of finishing school and they will feel like they have support form the school and staff and it will hold them to a expectations and professionalism

we need to do all we can do to keep the students ingaged and be poractive in declineing students, encourage,listen,responde,and give solutions if you can. it gives the student a sense of worth and can be the small push they need.
