It is important to understand the psychological impacts of sexual assualt and harassment.

The institution is responsible for investigating even if criminal charges have been dropped.

It is important to have individuals available to whom a staff member or student can make a report.

It is important to provide a safe learning environment for ALL of our students.

It is important to make learning relevant and real for the students.  They have to do more than memorize, they have to be able to apply and integrate knowledge into their practice.

Keep learning engaging by telling stories and creating learning situations that captivate and engage the students.

Even though they are adult learners, they enjoy fun antics and lighthearted banter to start the class.

Be sure to acknowledge that students have more going on in their lives that what happens inside of the classroom.
