I learned that you don't want to rely on just one way to evaluate the course and see what is working and not working. Use multiple sources.

That there are many types of ways to give feedback and to utilize them but also a rubric is important. It tells the student what is needed and how the assignment is to be graded. 

That building a dynamic syllabus is a good idea. This syllabus is like a step by step guide for the student and they can find anything they need there. It spells everything out for them. 

In this portion of the course, it was emphasized that consistency is the key. This allows the student to find things easily and be more comfortable in the course.
