I suppose that most of the stuff I learned in this segment is stuff that I already do but did not really take into account that it was so beneficial to the student. Such as the three Major Roles played by an instructor and importance of the 5 C's.

After taking this section I have realized that some of the strategies I used may have failed which at the time I struggled with. Now, I see where some of the errors were made and now it makes sense and it will be corrected. Thanks for the information

I use storytelling to relate to the context be taught, I have noticed that some stories I get not responses or questions. However, most times when I have questions being asked I now know that they are learning. I have been told they like the stories that explain in depth of what is being taught. Not just what the book says.

I often use storytelling to relate with the content being taught. I have caught myself beginning to give personal information and stopped myself. This caused students to enquire and ask more questions, which I advise that information is irrelevant and we get back on point.

I use storytelling to bring my real-world experience into the classroom. This also helps when explaining how the content we are learning about can be used and learned from.

Providing storytelling of experiences to the students brings the real world to the classroom, thus keeping them engaged by letting them ask follow-up questions related to the topic being taught

Never been a fan of giving extra credit, but I can see how giving it as long as it does not exceed the regular earned credit could help the student who needs it the most.

Realizing that you cannot compromise on competencies, knowledge, and skills required to succeed. Which really brings the thought of matching the assignment to the students' experience level. 

Utilizing the PowerPoint Guidelines was informative however, definitely be implementing the 10/20/30 PowerPoint Rule.

Utilizing different colored handouts for multiple forms, especially at the beginning of the year can be helpful. Additionally, creating observation sheets for field trips can keep the students focused and engaged.
