I just took a course, ED 110, and it really gave me some helpful tips in tricks. As an instructor it can be easy to be overwhelmed and overloaded and its nice to know there are some ways to navigate things. I would suggest this course to anyone!

I really enjoyed this class not only personally, but also professionally. I have a very diverse group pf students in my classes and it is always a bonus to learn how to apporach the different learning styles. With the world and economy as it is today more and more people are returning to the classroom and having a knowledge of hwo to connect with each group is wonderful. I recommend this class for any and all!

In adult education keeping students motivated is number one goal. Being an instructor of cosmetology I am prepping my students to be the best they can be and for work in a professional setting. What is the best way to urge professionalism with adult students, ie: being on time for class, having a professional apperance and attitude; without coming across as "nagging". I come to class on time, dresses professional, to be that example for students. Any other suggestions on how to get a message out to adult learners?

I feel with this course I have a better understanding of different motivating factors for adult students. I will definitly use some of the suggestions I learned in the course. Student motivation is key to success; without it the learning process can be difficult. Knowing how and what works best to motivate adult learners makes me a better instructor.
