I agree that this class offered insight into helping those with special needs. My school has policies for accommodation, but this is an accelerated program, with very limited time for 1 on 1 tutoring. Incorporating some of the strategies may help, but I question the best match for accelerated programs and students with special needs. An accelerated program demands student self-directed learning. I also question the use of tape recorders in the classroom.
