I have had all ages of students in my classes from 17 to students 60+. In my experience it doesn’t matter how old the student is, it’s are they interested in what you are teaching. They have to want to be there and want to learn what you are teaching. Your ability as an instructor will either make it easy or hard not only for the student but also for the instructor. but in the end they will succeed if they want it.

I use the progress reports to stay ontop of the students learning and where they are at in the class. This gives you the opportunity to give them advice on where to improve.
