When students are enrolled online, it is more likely that they will procrastinate due to that they do not have a set time to be in class. 

Students can feel a sense of disconnection to online learning if there is no face to face interaction. 

Even though you are teaching a course online it is still important to make sure you are making connections with your students and supporting them.

Make sure that you have a full understanding of the online platform that will be used to be able to successfully host the class. 

Emotional intelligence is a very important skill. 

Soft skills are important, and common sense is not very common.

Adapting to various learning styles with let students be able to engage in the lesson. 

By using different teaching techniques, you will have a better understanding of the students because you are allowing for students to engage with their learning style.

Teaching adults you have to mindful that they are expecting to get results from the class for their future.
