I learned the use and value of holistic assessment.  This takes into account more that just taking the results of certain tests to evalauate a students learning and content comprehension.

I find the concept of working with the final goal in mind to be fascinating.  This technique allows for steady continuous involvement and engagement in the course.  In addition, keeping the students actively involved increases student satisfactions and leaning. 

These discussed techniques allow for learning to take place regardless of learner preference because it facilitates learning in many different ways to meet more student needs. 

I have learned that providing a effective and dynamic learning environment helps to engage students and allows them to feel more of a sense of control in the direction of their learning.   In addition, this allows the student a better understanding of how they learn and process information.
