Because we are in the service industry we need to be mindful that all the work we do in the classroom is much like that as well. Asking what is that we can to make it easier on a student with a disability. Effective communication will go a long way. 

the less people with their hands in the pot the more effective accommodations become. 

I really had no idea about a lot of these. I was aware of disabilities but not how in-depth  these laws go 

I honestly didn't know how deep this went. I remember at a previous school we weren't really taught these things because up management handled it. I never knew how complex accommodation can be. 

Like all things, we may experiences some challenges. Just because the course is partially online, doesn't mean we wont experience some of the challenges through online learning as well. 

I learned actually what these two terms meant,synchronour and asynchronous. It is important that out students participate but all that we are available with feedback and or redirection. Alway sleep it profession and direct the conversation in the way of the topic.

You want to build trust with your students, a bio bout yourself, a way to start building a student-instructor relationship. Also, coming prepared with information to lead in class discussion. Keeping the discussion board clear of clutter and managing it well. 

Even though the students are learning online, we still need to do our part as the instructor to know the material they are going over. We need to have active discussing to aid in insisting the information sticking
