This was a good opportunity for me to think about the various ways to incorpoate assessment of students. I liked the forum on powerpoints vs board. As instructors we should remember that some interaction with the 'good o' fashion' board provides a sense of real one on one instructing. Although, I am now encouraged to use technology because of its rapid response and quick access, I still like to go back to the board for teaching.
I have just completed the ED310 and learned so many new ways to incorporate fun in teaching medical terminology. I have enjoyed doing the other training courses as well, but this one provided the examples of ideas and activities that could be used. I will definitely be including these in my future lessons....
Just completed ED 105: I enjoyed this program because it gave insight to the grading/assessment part of instructing. I was reminded of how to be fair. It had good points about using other ways to assess a student, provide opportunity to obtain extra credit and encourage their participation. I like the presentation from the speakers as well. I really liked the way this program was presented.
This is a great refresher! I found that the methods and ideas are excellent reminders to what I already do with my students; but I also enjoyed the video examples to get new ideas. I look forward to participating in more Courses.
