About me
Born in Columbia, South America, I realized my passion for cosmetology at a very early age. My grandmother was the first person to introduce me to the world of cosmetology and as the years progressed, my love for hair and makeup continued to grow and develope. Once becoming an accomplished stylist/educator I soon realized I enjoyed mentoring and helping others to achieve their goals so I continued my education with the teachers program. My experience in teaching cosmetology students refined my attention to detail and allowed me to hone my speaking skills. As the lead stylist for a prominent cosmetology school, I was chosen to represent the school in a comercial advertisement and was their Teacher of the Year for 2004. My passion for the industry has motivated me to compete in several competitions, such as City of Hope, where I won first place along with the Bubbles Salon competitions where I won 3rd place. My work has been published in Philadelphia Weekly and Hair Style Sophisticates hair magazine etc. I loves that I'm able to influence as well as impact the lives of young men and women who have the desire and motivation to become successful stylist, as I am today. My love for this industry and my desire for more knowledge continues to grow everyday.
My motto: "Make a difference "
