Activity

The pygmalion effect is the part that stood out to me the most.

I reallt like the ideas presented around the debriefing session and how that should play out following a learning avtivity. the process of reflecting back to the students what they learned and my not have fully accepted yet. Allowing the negative experiences to be aired out while also leading with follow up questions to the postive being drawn out. good stuff.

I like the idea of playing with the seating arrangement to more of a "U-shape" and the use of music with different BPM's for stimulating various state of mental activity.

i like "negasaurus" and colored cards for questions

I can reach almost any student by meeting them exactly where they are. Not assuming to know where they are. But allowing them to tell me, through presence, attention and care, where they are and what their needs are.

If i can interupt my assumptions and be aware of the needs of all my students, I can begin to find new ways to instruct succefully.

Adding variety and midterm reevaluating

Encourage self- respect and nourish it through priase of small successes daily

The necessity of understanding the different needs of different student groups. based on age, experience or culture and the importance of not aving a one size fits all approach to instruction so i can meet the needs of those different groups.

To investigate and evaluate delivery methods to facilitate learning of material more effectively

greeting the students and setting the tone for the day while also guaging the tone of the collective to identify what may need to be brought to the class session
