we need to use different styles of teaching in the classroom. Use the least number of steps when doing a demonstration. Follow a lesson plan. Include personal experience when appropriate.

Meet the students as they come to class, do a meet and greet so everyone knows about you, be sure to be honest as to what will be expected from them.

We need to always be learning as well to stay current on our course knowledge. We need to make the classroom an inviting space to encourage students in their learning. It is a good habit to make a checklist to make sure you don't forget something important.

Model professionalism. We are here to help our students learn, not be their friends. Always encouraging them and let them know we believe in them.
